Leon L. Adams grew up in Chicago, Illinois
and has been a native of Tucson since 1981.
After graduating from Sahuaro High School,
Leon then received his bachelor’s degree
from the University of Phoenix in Human
Services and Counseling. He has over 20
years experience as an Entrepreneur and
Manager and is currently a mortgage advisor
for First Magnus Home Loans.
In
his 20 year career, Leon has been a
counselor, manager, and entrepreneur and
knows what it takes to serve his
customers. He spent 15 years in retail and
operations management where he received the
"Golden Rule Award" three years in a row for
outstanding customer service. He eventually
left his management role to become an
entrepreneur for 5 years where he enjoyed
the freedom of working for himself and his
clients.
Leon has always had a passion for sports and
fitness. He received a football scholarship
to play collegiate football at Culver
Stockton College in Canton, Missouri and has
also competed in numerous
bodybuilding competitions.
He holds the title of Mr. Arizona 1994.
Leon has volunteered for such
organizations such as Women in Community (WICS),
CommonUnity Program (CUP), Tucson Centers
for Women and Children, Southern Arizona
AIDS Foundation, and The Arizona Children’s
Association. He has also been a guest
speaker at multiple engagements.
Leon recognized that his true passion was in
helping women take a stand in their own
lives. His goal has always been for women
to truly grasp what they wanted and deserved
from relationships without losing
themselves. This passion led him to create
E.M.B.R.A.C.E.,
an organization aimed in helping young women
16 years of age and older develop
life-changing habits and strategies that
will assist them in redefining who they are.
Leon has been married for 16 years to his
beautiful wife and best friend Monica, and
is the father of three beautiful daughters,
Amber (19), Sydney (12) and Summer (6).
